Tinubu Swears In Justice Kekere-Ekun As Acting CJN

 

President Bola Tinubu has sworn in Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun as the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria.

She is the second female justice to hold the position. Justice Aloma Mukhtar was the first in 2012.

The swearing-in ceremony was held on Friday at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Tinubu returned to Abuja, the nation’s capital, after a brief working visit to France to swear in Justice Kekere-Ekun following the retirement of Justice Olukayode Ariwoola after attaining the mandatory retirement age of 70.
